Creeping Rosemary, Rosmarinus officinalis 'Prostratus' is best grown in full sun where it will bloom an abundance of blue flowers in spring and early summer. This evergreen herb boasts aromatic leaves that are widely used as seasoning. As a low growing shrub, it spreads fairly quickly and rarely grows above 1-2' tall. Widely used as a groundcover in mass plantings or as a low growing hedge, Creeping Rosemary needs little maintenance after being established. It may be used for its cascading affect over hillsides or retaining walls for a luxurious garden feel.
