Aurora Honeyberry has elongated blue berries ripening in late spring, one of the first fruits of the year! Honeyberries have a wild blueberry flavor and some say a combination between a blueberry and a raspberry with a kiwi like texture. Haskap means 'little presents on the end of branches' and are full of anit-oxidents! If planting a Honeyberry patch, Aurora has the sweetest berries for fresh eating, so plan on a majority of these mixed with a few other varieties with similar bloom time for pollination.
Aurora does well in part shade and fertile soil.
Grows 4-6 ft tall with an upright spreading shape.
