At a maximum height of 2' this diminutive shrub packs a large punch of color with deep red leaves that turn crimson in fall. There's nothing to stop you from planting Barberry Crimson Pygmy next to lighter toned broadleaf perennials in a garden bed. It will add lovely contrast by utilizing height, texture and color.
