Dianthus 'Tiny Rubies,' Dianthus gratianopolitanus 'Tiny Rubies', is part of the commonly called, 'Cheddar Pink' perennials. Abundant, rich pink flowers delight all who see this plant in bloom during spring and summer. When the majority of blooms are spent, light shearing can be applied to encourage more flowering and thicker foliage growth. Dianthus 'Tiny Rubies' looks especially attractive as a border species in front of roses or low growing evergreens. It can be planted in full sun to fill in rock wall crevices, or quaintly tucked into a seaside rock garden as a beautiful accent.
