Little Zebra Grass (Miscanthus sinensis 'Little Zebra') is almost as famous for its towering flowering stalks as it is for its green and yellow banded foliage. Purplish-red plumes dart to 6' in late summer and turn a pretty parchment in fall. The rest of the time, you'll be enjoying its colorful foliage that fades to tan in winter, and looks great in a snowy backdrop. Low maintenance and versatile, plant Little Zebra Grass in a sunny spot and simply cut back late winter just above the crown before new growth emerges.
