Sedum 'Purpureum' Stonecrop, Sedum spathulifolium 'Purpureum', produces beautiful loosely-leaved red rosettes with powdery-silver centers. Sunny yellow flowers shoot well above its gorgeous foliage in summer and make a powerful impression in the landscape. Sedum 'Purpureum' is native to the Pacific United States and is highly drought resistant. Use in a costal rock garden or as a part of a mixed border edging with other drought resistant Stonecrops or Hens and Chicks for year round color and textural interest.
