Wall Germander has small glossy green oak shaped leaves that last all year long & is a wonderful addition to every garden. It's dark herb green foliage and rosy lavender colored flowers grow in a pleasing form and would be beautiful paired with arctic willow, lavender & rosemary for a Tuscan inspired garden. Can also be used to make low aromatic hedges.
Wall Germander grows in a mound form to the height of about 1 foot, with a slightly greater width. If you want to form a quick, tight hedge, install the individual plants 6 inches apart or wider for a looser hedge.
Wall Germander has semi woody stems that do not die back in winter. You can cut and dry the stems for herbed wreaths or arrangements.
